Singita Grumeti | Serengeti
The reserve Singita Grumeti is located along the side of the Serengeti in Tanzania and is so renowned for its eco-philanthropic ethic exceptional luxury offers.
The reserve was created by the Tanzanian government in 1994 in order to protect the annual gnu migration route and the indigenous biodiversity of this wide and important ecosystem. In fact, Singita’s main goal is to preserve wide areas of African wilderness for future generations.
In 2002, the Grumeti Community and Wildlife Conservation Fund (now known as Grumeti Fund), which is a nonprofit organization, was given the right to take care of the management and conservation of these 350,000 acres in favor of Tanzania, Africa and the whole world. Four years later, Singita took over management of the property to improve low-impact luxury tourism.
The reserve provide exclusive access to five luxury lodges and tented camps spread over 350,000 acres of wilderness.
The Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers breathtaking views from the hills over the savannah, the Singita Sabora Tented Camp is a modern interpretation of luxury tented safaris, and the Singita Faru Faru Lodge, with a contemporary design, is the symbol of restful luxury.
For exclusive experiences, Serengeti House is the right option as it’s a private villa offering an unmatched stay in the Serengeti, while Singita Explore is a tented camp set up according to the movements of the Great Migration.
